Coming onto the scene in 1987, she made her recording debut with the album All By Myself, which featured hits such as “So Many Tears” and “Show Me The Way.” The chart-topping album Stay With Me followed in 1989, which was RIAA-Certified GoldⓇ, and featured her #1 hits “Make It Like It Was” and “Baby Come To Me.” After that, Belle recorded a duet with Johnny Mathis called “Better Together” from his album Better Together: The Duet Album. Her collaborations have always been successful, especially those with Peabo Bryson. She had a string of hits with Bryson, including, “Without You” (1987),” “I Can't Imagine" (1991), and the Disney mega hit, “A Whole New World” (from her 1992 RIAA-Certified GoldⓇ album Passion), which was featured in the blockbuster animated film Aladdin.
