This week's returning guest, political activist and co-host of The Muck Podcast Hillary Dougherty, didn't mince words when she asked to come back on the show: "boygenius just released the album of the year and I need to come on and talk about it!" OK. Luckily the debut full-length by this indie supergroup made up of three young, talented women (Julien Baker, Phoebe Bridgers and Lucy Dacus) simply titled 'the record' IS pretty great, and well deserving of all the accolades it's been getting.
