Care of the transgender and gender diverse community, or persons who do not identify with the sex or gender assigned at birth, presents opportunities for pharmacist involvement in all patient care settings. Understanding of therapeutic and psychosocial factors is paramount to creating and maintaining a gender-affirming environment.
