This is a version of The Meta, looking specifically at trends after week1 to try and capitalize on for week two and week three.  Teams, datacrons, units, strategy, etc - let's see what we can cover and discover!- - text from my show notes are below - - Let's start with my own approach for deciding my defense in w2 + w3.  What GLs held consistantly in w1?- Nothing.  Okay, that's objectively not true, but it sure seems like it.- Lots of GLs held vs non-GLs, but all of the GLs have at minimum one highly reliable counter... and worst (best?) of all there are no overlaps.- Starting with Rey.  Just mirror, not worth the hassle otherwise- Vader.  JML or JMK.  I prefer JML with a decent s11 +prot DC.- Vader + Malicos is interesting.  Makes things a bit more spicy!- Leia.  SLKR+KRU+Malicos or Leia.  Orrrrr Jabba!  Some tricky bits in there though.  Jabba the DPS team!- Jabba.  Still JMK.  SLKR or Aphra in a pinch.- SEE.  + Armorer/tank.  Or Savage?  Sort of not bad-ish?- JML.  Sorry, JML lovers.  SK, Reva or Malgus rips him up, plus virtually any of the GLs.- Ooooops, JMK too.  Sort of shuts down Reva if you don't know the counter, but SEE, JML, mirror, Leia and Vader still squish it.So where's the magic juice with the GL combinations?- As always, something with the front and back walls.- The two key GLs seem to be Vader and Leia.  Where your opponent thinks they are vs where they actually are is key.- Vader Malicos is interesting, but you have to keep it in the back wall or your opponent knows you don't have Jabba on D or are keeping Leia for O.- Not a lot of juice to squeeze from this GL onion.Non-GL teams and where can I find some gems (on defense)?- Lots of interesting things here, however!- First things first, Iden is probably off the board for anyone with Dark Gideon.  Or she can be Wampa'd again if she gave up Scout.  How to deal with Dark Gideon on defense?  No clue here, that's gonna be interesting.- Jawa! ... sad trombone.  Wampa/Malak bait.  And a lot of other stuff.  Oh well.- Chief Warrior Raider (L6 only).  Best team on defense?  Expect it to be overkilled.- EP MJ SK + riposte.  Not too bad.  Reva ad SK mainly.- DR Savage FBS.  Very good!  Unfortately mirror-able pretty easily but quite powerful otherwise.- Ewoks?  Too many things kill them.  Pretty great for banner stripping though.- Dash + L3 + L3DC?  Sort of good a bit?  Vandor or Hondo for 3rd can change thing up.- Anything else pop into my mind?What's my strategy for defense vs offense in w2 and how does it relate to w3 and w1?- Always change.  This week will be my easiest matches of the season.  Against opponents who don't scout, this week means nothing.  Against those who do, I can play around a bit.- Less time, more match wins.  Practice offense for w3.- Don't give away everything I know.A few other (mostly offensive) notes;- Hux Trooper FOTP is fantastic- Wedge Han Chew +Wedge L9 is SO MUCH DAMAGE- Bast + JKC is best combo, NOT JKL!- Any other contributions, brain?
