Police Bodycam: ‘Drunk Teacher’ Admits to Having Glass of Wine Before Showing Up to Court

The Oklahoma teacher who allegedly showed up to school drunk back in August — was just arrested for allegedly showing up drunk to court. In body camera footage, Kimberly Coates can be heard telling officers “she didn’t understand” why she was being arrested, but later admitted she had a glass of wine before heading to the courthouse. Coates was booked for public intoxication. Officers said her speech was slurred, her eyes were glazed over, smelled like alcohol, and swayed when she stood up.
