Stine books given a fresh take and a bit more of an adult storyline, following a group of five high schoolers who embark on a shadowy and twisted journey to investigate the tragic passing three decades earlier of a teen named Harold Biddle — while also unearthing dark secrets from their parents’ past. Alongside Briones and Puig, the series also stars Zach Morris, Miles McKenna, Will Price, Rachael Harris, Justin Long, Rob Huebel, and Jonathan Silverman, among others. The actresses discuss bringing a fresh take to the reboot, allowing for nostalgia while creating their own version, and making sure there are still easter eggs connecting us to the original series.
