In an effort to clear some roster spots and add some depth to the bullpen, the Atlanta Braves pulled off a significant trade that ended the Micharol Soroka era in Atlanta. 
Along with Soroka, the Braves sent Jared Shuster, Nicky Lopez, Braden Shewmake, and Riley Gowens to the Chicago White Sox for lefty reliever Aaron Bummer. 
This trade now gives the Braves three open spots on their 40-man roster for other potential moves.
