Description

In June 2020 the hashtag #SpeakingOut started trending on Twitter as numerous women came forward with stories of the abuse, assaults, and harassment they had experienced as wrestlers.
On this episode, Kendra and Rich talk to independent wrestling fan Joe about what this meant for the world of professional wrestling and how these stories had previously been swept under the rug for as long as sports entertainment has been around. They also discuss the parallels between the indie wrestling and punk / hardcore scenes and how the fans can change the direction of both these industries for the better.
