The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn, a secret society founded in the late 19th century, incorporated Enochian magic into its teachings. Members of the Golden Dawn, such as Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers and Aleister Crowley, further developed and popularized Enochian magic in their occult practices.
