The Cincinnati Reds will have a busy offseason for two big reasons. On today's podcast we look at the biggest reason why: the Reds have very little money committed to payroll. With the few guarantees they have, and large number of major league minimum contracts on the books, the Reds are just over $40 million and sit at 28th in payroll. The Reds had the biggest ticket sales increase and were one of the top-five in TV audience increase last year. They have money to spend.

How best should the Reds spend their money? Should they go after a player like Teoscar Hernandez or should they go for Jordan Montgomery? The Reds should have enough money to work with that they can go get both players and then some.
