The Toronto Maple Leafs ended their first road trip of the season with an overtime loss to the Nashville Predators. Mike DiStefano and David Morassutti look at the Leafs losing steam after a lengthy road trip and how Ilya Samsonov looked in his return to the net. They give their thoughts on Timothy Liljegren being forced to leave the game and the impact it had on the ice time for the blue line and a problem the Leafs face with their depth. They give props to William Nylander for continuing his strong start to the season but also look at the goal that changed the momentum in the game in the wrong way for Toronto. To end the show, Mike and Dave touch on the Jake McCabe injury update, Kieffer Bellows joining the Toronto Marlies, Connor McDavid's return to the Heritage Classic and a sad day in the hockey world.
