The Los Angeles Angels would certainly love to have Shohei Ohtani back on the roster in 2024 and beyond, and a recent article from Bob Nightengale of USA Today suggests that the Halos remain "cautiously optimistic" in their chance of re-signing him. So, do we buy that? What incentive is there for Ohtani to stay? Turns out, he might have some incentives of his own, as well as some demands!
