She has completed fellowships at Harvard, University of Chicago, and was an Assistant Professor of philosophy at Yale University. Her main interests are in political philosophy, feminist philosophy, and moral philosophy. She is the author of two books which are, We Are Not Born Submissive: How Patriarchy Shapes Women’s Lives, and her most recent book, The Joy of Consent: A Philosophy of Good Sex.
