The Miami Dolphins will be without De'Von Achane for an extended period of time after suffering a knee injury in Sunday's win over the New York Giants. The Dolphins are yet to make a decision on if Achane will land on injured reserve, meaning he'd be sidelined for at least four weeks. Miami may give the rookie tailback an extended period of time off, considering that the team has a Week 10 bye — the same week Achane is eligible to return.
Achane is an instant success with the Dolphins, 11 runs of 10 or more yards, and leading the league with a PFF grade of 94.7. He's needed just 38 attempts to rush for 460 yards, the second-most in the NFL. Coach Mike McDaniel's offense leads the NFL with an average of 511 yards per game — will the team maintain that mark with one of its biggest playmakers?
