The Houston Astros took it down to the wire and finally sealed the AL West championship and the No. 2 seed in the AL for a first round bye. Will they be able to win back-to-back World Series championships? The Astros pitching is solid, led once again by Justin Verlander, and their lineup can be dangerous at times, led by Jordan Alvarez. But can they put it all together consistently? The Astros biggest problem has been inconsistent play through the season.
