Not only that, Scott and his family became political pawns for both sides, as this two year horrific battle has taken place after the local school board covered up the sexual assault, leading to another sexual assault in another school. He essentially won Governor Youngkin the election, as the face of parental rights and after two years, Scott Smith was pardoned for his alleged crime that never should have occurred in the first place.
