Jeff’s Weather Blurb: As i mentioned in the news area, Hurricane Lee made landfall in the Maritimes. Wind gusts of around 120 km/h were reported. At the peak around 230,000 customers were without power in nova scotia. There was no major infrastructure damage reported, and no reports of missing people, injuries or deaths. Halifax, Truro, New Glasgow, and the western part of the province, which includes the South Shore, the Annapolis Valley, and Digby, Yarmouth and Shelburne County, were hardest hit by the storm. A former panelist who lives out there said the buoy at the halifax harbor registered a 36 foot swell
Tropical storm Nigel has now formed in the atlantic but it appears as though it will not be a threat to land, but i will keep and eye and update discord
