Effective today, only 14 electric cars and trucks will qualify for
federal tax breaks up to $7,500, according to a new list put out by the
Treasury Department on Monday. POLITICO’s Tanya Snyder breaks down why

and if the White House expects more vehicles to qualify in the future.
