About our guests:
Dr. Nokukhanya Khanyile-Lenake is a paediatrics registrar rotating in the public hospitals affiliated with the University of the Witwatersrand, as well as a mental health advocate and influencer. She is vocal about healthcare access and equity in South Africa, and has gained a significant following on Twitter and Instagram for her work in advocating for better healthcare services for underserved communities.
Mr Romulen Pillay is the Managing Director of Philips Southern Africa. He is keenly focussed on digital technology and increasing technology-driven solutions for South African problems. As a fourth-generation South African, he is also keenly aware of the disparities that exist in our society and wants to find solutions that enable better access to healthcare.

About the conversation:
We discuss the full Philips Future Health Index Report for 2023, with some of the key insights and our responses to them. Now in its 8th year, the report surveyed 3000 healthcare leaders and professionals from 14 countries, and evaluated their priorities and perspectives across a number of issues. A new focus this year was the experience of younger healthcare professionals and how their responses differed from those of their counterparts and predecessors.
