On this episode of The Strange Road, Mikey and Bub sat down with with Bill Homann. Bill is a world explorer, adventurer, martial artist, speaker and the caretaker of The Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull. The Strange Crew met Bill on the Summer Solstice in 2020 while helping Terri Rivera and Thomas Johnson livestream their event Serpent Mound Star Knowledge. Bill gave a fantastic talk and we were allowed to film and photograph the crystal skull. We kept in contact ever since and were stoked when Bill was able to come on the show! He has incredible stories and share with us the origin and legend of The F.A. Mitchell-Hedges Crystal Skull. Bill is one of our most favorite people in the world. Mitchell-Hedges and his exploits and discoveries in Belize (British Honduras in the 1920’s). He continued his research until he finally met Anna Mitchell-Hedges and the famed Crystal Skull in late 1970’s. He has spent the rest of his life learning to care for and work with the Crystal Skull. In 2007 he became the Legal Guardian of the Skull when Anna passed.
