For a second successive year, an Argentine celebrated with intensity and passion as United appeared en route to a famous victory. Last year, Lisandro Martinez’s brilliant header was made futile by a 90th-minute winner checked by VAR. This year, Alejandro Garnacho’s wonderfully composed one-on-one finish was ruled out for the tightest of offsides and Declan Rice’s 96th-minute deflected strike won it for Arsenal. Gutting.
