We're dealing with some illness this week so you get something we've recorded about a year ago but it went straight to YouTube instead of on podcast. Something to keep in mind, this was recorded BEFORE the elections of 2020. That being said, it is still a great story from American history that shows just how fragile our liberties can be, especially if there aren't strong men (and women) willing to take a stand and defend those liberties. The year is 1946. The sheriff and his deputies are shaking down the citizens to squeeze any penny they can get out of them. They're all linked to a bigger political machine that potentially went all the way to the federal government. Join us on a journey through possibly the most well documented case of voter fraud, suppression and outright political crimes against citizens ever documented in the United States and how the returning GI's were able to turn the tables on the Crump political machine.
