On this weeks’ show, we’re joined by Udo Dirkschneider, the legendary German heavy metal Vocalist currently of U.D.O. and of course from the peak era of Accept. Udo joined us to promote the bands’ just released new album “Touchdown”. We take a deep-dive into the new album, providing our takeaways of the material & of course hearing all about it from the Artist himself.
In the episode we cover everything from the inspiration behind a European choosing to name the new album after an American sport, how writing 13 songs for the “Touchdown” album was an easy task, a recap of the bands Summer European tour & future touring plans in the US & rest of world to support “Touchdown” as well as providing his feelings & some insight on his 36-year career as a Solo artist & extensive discography (19 U.D.O. studio releases!).
