He delivered the keynote address at the Kansas City Fed’s annual retreat in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He reiterated previous sentiments about making progress on inflation, but says it’s still too high and the central bank plans to “keep at it until the job is done.” He said: “We are prepared to raise rates further if appropriate, and intend to hold policy at a restrictive level until we are confident that inflation is moving sustainably down toward our objective” – which is 2%...    ...The North Texas area is becoming a global technology hub as semiconductor companies move into the area. That’s creating tens of thousands of jobs, and with all those jobs, a surge in housing demand.
