Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa threw an interception to begin Saturday's preseason game against the Houston Texans but the fourth-year quarterback had a strong performance overall in his first live action since Dec. 25, 2022. Houston's Denzel Perryman intercepted Tagovailoa, who finished the day 5-7 for 61 yards.
The former Alabama standout quarterback looked comfortable during a 93-yard drive that closed with a touchdown from Raheem Mostert. Coach Mike McDaniel was determined to run the football and closed the game with 205 rushing yards. That said, the Dolphins saw some good things from Tagovailoa and second-year player Skylar Thompson. Was this officially Miami's dress rehearsal or could we see Tagovailoa on the field next week?
