According to Luis Elizondo, the former head of the Pentagon UFO Research Program, there are 5 observables of UFO/UAP that help determine the origin of a craft:

1. Instantaneous Acceleration: UFOs/UAPs have been reported to exhibit acceleration capabilities that far surpass any known human-made aircraft. They are able to change their speed and direction almost instantaneously, displaying maneuvers that would subject occupants of conventional aircraft to extreme gravitational forces.

2. Hypersonic Velocity: These objects have been observed traveling at hypersonic speeds, which means they move at least five times the speed of sound (Mach 5) or faster. Their ability to maintain such velocities over long distances suggests advanced propulsion systems that are currently beyond our technological capabilities.

3. Low Observability: UFOs/UAPs often possess characteristics that make them difficult to detect using traditional radar and sensing systems. This "stealth" capability could be a result of advanced materials or designs that reduce their radar cross-section, allowing them to operate in highly contested airspace without being easily detected.

4. Trans-Medium Travel: Reports of these objects moving seamlessly between air and water, and even entering and exiting the ocean without apparent disruption, indicate a capability to operate in multiple environments. Such behavior challenges our understanding of conventional aircraft and raises questions about the underlying technology.

5. Gravitational Defiance: UFOs/UAPs have been observed performing maneuvers that seem to defy the laws of physics as we currently understand them. These include abrupt changes in direction at high speeds, hovering without the need for aerodynamic lift, and exhibiting G-forces that would incapacitate human pilots. This suggests the presence of advanced propulsion systems that manipulate gravity or spacetime.
