First, he analyzes the few high-quality pieces the Avalanche have in their pool - which is severely lacking in B-level talent - highlighted by playmaking centerman Calum Ritchie and exhilarating offensive defenseman Mikhail Gulyayev. Next, he takes a look at a Capitals pool headlined by some newly-drafted big names in powerforward goalscorer Ryan Leonard and shifty skilled playmaker Andrew Cristall. Last, he breaks down the Devils' pipeline, which features three excellent defensive prospects - Luke Hughes, Simon Nemec, and Seamus Casey - but is severely lacking in depth beyond them.
