Firefighters were called to a house fire in a small village, just north of Nottingham. They quickly extinguished the blaze but inside the house, tragically they found the body of mum of two, Jacqueline Bartlam. But Jacqueline had not succumbed to the flames or smoke inhalation, she had been brutally beaten and murdered before the house was set on fire.

If that wasn’t shocking enough, detectives soon realised that the person who had killed Jacqueline was her own 14 year old son, Daniel...
