Unsuspecting members of NXIVM would eventually learn that the organization’s goal wasn’t to help people reach their full potential, it was to fulfill the sadistic desires of its leader Keith Rainere. The organization would eventually be exposed in a very public way, with Rainere and other high ranking members facing very serious criminal charges. Even after Rainere’s conviction on sex trafficking and other charges, he still has loyalists who celebrate him.
