Description

This week’s guest is “Broadway’s next big thing” according to Lin Manuel Miranda. He just recently became an awardee of the Jonathan Larson Grant which is awarded annually to musical theatre composers, lyricists, and librettists, or writing teams, early in their career, to support artistic endeavors and safeguard long-term music writing careers.
His upcoming musicals "Frida, The Musical" and "Broadway en Spanglish" are currently in workshop productions hoping to find a space to tell these stories. On August 4th you can see him in a free concert event at Lincoln Center in his show featuring songs of his album Songs by an immigrant, sung by your favorite Broadway stars.
Jaime's story is one to inspire so many. One that you must hear.
Curtain up, Jaime Lozano
