Description
Well, as the 50th anniversary of the phenomenon known as Star Trek starts to wind down, we thought it would be a great idea to jump onto the "which is the best of the best" bandwagon. So, as our special tribute to the series that started it all, this week we rank our top 10 Original Series episodes! But that's not all. Here to help us with this special episode, is Mr. TrekRanks himself - the man who actually fired the torpedoes on the good ole NX-01, Mr EnterpriseExtra, Jim Moorhouse! You can see his awesome rankings of all the Star Trek series at www.trekranks.com, and we are thrilled he is joining us for this TOS spectacular. For this special discussion, we have followed Jim's lead from his website and listed our episode, followed by a short 5 word description, and then an ultimate hashtag comment for each choice. You can see our individual lists on the Trek Geeks website! 5YM! We can't thank FIVE YEAR MISSION enough. We are truly grateful to them for allowing us to use their music for every episode of Trek Geeks. You really should check them out--they're writing and recording one original song for each episode of the classic Star Trek series from the 1960's. Warp on over to their website at FiveYearMission.net and check out all of their fantastic albums! You can hear them all: Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, The Trouble with Tribbles, and of course, the amazing Spock's Brain! Plus, here is a little secret...they are working on Year 4 right now! Here’s a rundown of the Five Year Mission songs you'll hear in this episode! Themes The Cage – [Track 1] – Year One The Trouble With Tribbles 6 – [Track 6] – The Trouble With Tribbles Bumper Music Errand of Mercy – [Track 11] – Year Two Catspaw – [Track 5] – Year Three
