Here I am once again late to the Party. The Bates disbanded in the 2000's and their singer & bass player Zimbl died in 2006, making a reunion impossible. Life fast & die young was surely his anthem. As they played so many love songs, for my distant view it seems that the singer was quite an unhappy person. Sometimes loss & despair makes the best music ...
