Este Haim catches up with Kyle Meredith to talk about her work as Executive Music Producer on the Hulu/Disney+ series, A Small Light. The Haim bassist discusses her work as a TV & film composer on projects such as Maid, Cha Cha Real Smooth, and White Lotus, which she scored the second season for, and plans to be part of future seasons in any way she can, as well as what makes A Small Light such a special series, as it tells the story of Anne Frank from the perspective of Miep Gies. Haim goes on to talk about bringing on Sharon Van Etten, Phoebe Bridgers, Angel Olsen, and Kamasi Washington to cover songs from the 40s as part of the soundtrack, as well as her sister Danielle to cover “Till We Meet Again” for the pilot episode.
