Our next guest is Connie Crawford, who was a finalist for the Anyone Can Host contest. In the Fall of 1977, Lorne Michaels and the producers of Saturday Night Live held a contest to allow regular viewers of SNL to apply and host the show. Out of 150,000 applicants, Connie was 1 of 5 finalists who made it to Studio 8H to appear on the Buck Henry episode and compete for votes. In this podcast, Connie discusses her experience meeting the original SNL cast, becoming a local celebrity, and appearing on the show!
