The grind of the NHL season comes to an end with the Vegas Golden Knights being crowned champions. As always, the litany of injuries that hockey players endure in the playoffs comes to surface once the season ends; for the Florida Panthers the list was a long one. Ray & Dregs lead things off with their thoughts on Paul Maurice’s post-game comments, and the improbable run for his Panthers.

The guys reflect on the ‘big swing’ approach that management had from Day 1 in Las Vegas. Ray remarks that the Knights were NOT gifted a cup-winning roster, but does give credence to the ‘blank slate’ that the Knights started with as opposed to other teams in the NHL. Plus, the journey of Jack Eichel: His recovery from neck surgery, to being a key factor in the Golden Knights win.
