Conventional wisdom is a shared body of wisdom about how to live; it’s a lens and worldview that we share. It’s what “everybody knows.” Yet, sometimes conventional wisdom is, well, flat out wrong. Jesus taught and embodied an alternative wisdom - unconventional wisdom - that cut against the grain of his context (and ours!). In this first teaching, we explore an often misunderstood bit of Jesus’s teaching concerning “The Two Ways.”
