On this episode of the Sound Of Hockey Podcast, Darren reveals that he's in a pretty terrible slump as a beer league goalie, and he just needs to talk about it. John and Andy provide some not-so-helpful suggestions, but hopefully just getting it out in the world is enough to help Darren turn it around. No breakthroughs happen in this session, but stay tuned to future episodes. 
After the therapy session, the guys discuss some of the minor Kraken signings from this week and the revelation of finalized NHL schedules, with times now solidified. We also get a brief WHL Update from our WHL correspondent Andy Eide.
Darren then shares some info about the University of Alaska Anchorage hockey program. He spoke with the chairperson from Save Seawolf Hockey this week and wrote a story about their drive to rescue the program from extinction (you can donate at saveseawolfhockey.com). The deadline and goal are both very much in sight.
