The Chargers have met with several players for the NFL Draft of 2023 and this video is to give updates on them. Juster Taylor was one example of a player the Chargers met with, who then led to his drafting. One of the players the Chargers have met with is Mou Diba, an edge linebacker from Utah. In his senior year, he had five sacks, one forced fumble, 58 tackles, and 32 solo tackles. His 40-time is 4.5. Currently, his position rank is 27th and his overall rank is 78.5. The video goes on to discuss other players the Chargers have met with for the Draft.

This conversation is about the potential of the Los Angeles Chargers looking for a linebacker with some juice to add more depth and depth to the edge position. The Chargers have met with Antonio Mafi from UCLA and he is projected to be drafted in the seventh round. Mafi has had some national attention and transferred from Florida to Utah. Mafi also attended the East-West Shrine Bowl. The conversation is also about Kyle Vannoy, who could play both positions of linebacker and edge. The speaker wants to know the thoughts of the viewers on the people they have interviewed.

The Chargers have been scouting O-lineman since 2018 and they have been targeting local talent. In particular, they have recently been looking at 6’4, 338 lbs. UCLA senior John Michael Schmidtz. His ranking is around 80.8 and he is expected to be picked up in late rounds. He played in the Shrine Bowl and has experience in both pass and run blocking. Another O-lineman being considered is McLendon Curtis from Chattanooga. He is 6’3, 224 lbs. and is 31st in positional ranking. He had a good showing at the Senior Bowl and he has 35 inch arms and 10 and a quarter inch hands. His arm span is 84 inches, which is in the 86-88 percentile and he is expected to be selected in the 6th round. Both of these O-linemen are expected to add depth to the Chargers' line. Center position is a crucial role, so the Chargers are looking for someone who can fill that role.

The Chargers are currently in need of a center to replace their aging player. Jon-Michael Schmitz from Minnesota is a top center in the draft, rated at 86.6 overall with a 92.6% run blocking rating. He is also known for his high football IQ and ability to lead the offense.

The Chargers have also spoken about adding Tucker Craft from South Dakota State University as a tight end. He is currently rated fifth among tight ends with a 4.69 40-yard dash time and 84.5 base player rating. His arms and hand span are on the lower side, but he is known for his good receiving routes and broad jump. He is projected to be a third or fourth round pick.
