CONFIDENTIAL), as well as Randi Brooks as Mel, who - as near as we can tell - might potentially have been the first transgender character with a leading role on a network television series. THE LAST PRECINCT was simultaneously of its time, ahead of its time and behind the times... but was it CANCELED TOO SOON?
