In this edition of Locked on Capitals Dan talks about the future of Martin Fehervary on the Caps. A great sound defenseman that knows how to layout a hit and has a flare of offense. Martin Fehervary is an RFA but the CAps would be wise to sign him to a new deal. "Discussions will pick up shortly," MacLellan said. "We really like what he's done. He's a big part of our organization going forward," MacLellan said of Fehervary in March. "I think we got two young guys, [Rasmus] Sandin and him, that hopefully we can build around going forward. We're going to have two young top-4 defensemen that'll be a big part of our team for a lot of years to come." Later Dan talks about the first coversations between Spencer Carbery and Alex Ovechkin “When we talk, everything is team-centric stuff,” Carbery continued. “You’d think a lot of the conversation leads to goals and achieving something really, really special and it’s the opposite. It leads towards team stuff and how we’re going to win. That’s a pretty special quality about Alex and what makes him such a great leader and such a great individual athlete.” In the last segment Dan talks about the Calder Cup playoffs can be a good showcase for Washington Capitals prospects
