Holly G and Rich Bianco are in the studio talking about all things golf.

Angel Cabrera won the Greenbrier Classic for his first win on the PGA Tour that was not a major championship. On the horizon is the John Deere Classic for the PGA, the Women's British Open and the U.S. Senior Open Championship.

Brian Hewitt, Global
Golf Post Editor, calls in to talk to Holly G and Rich B about the Scottish
Open, Women’s
British Open and The Open
Championship. Brian Hewitt says Paul Casey is a longshot to win the
tournament.

Holly asks Brian about Martin Kaymer and the way he dissected
Pine Hurst and the way he outthought and outplayed everyone in the field.  It’s hard to say what Tiger Woods will do.

Rich B says that Angel Cabrera is his dark horse pick.  He and Brian talk about his driving. When he
gets it going, he can make it do anything he wants. Brian says that he is not a
dark horse and he should be in your Top 5.

US Senior Open in Oklahoma. Lauren Roberts has a chance to
make history. Bernhard Langer, Jeff Slumann.  Brian mentions Joe Durant and Scott Verplank’s
chances.

Brian wraps it up talking about how great the U.S. Women are
playing on the LPGA Tour. Michelle Wie and Lexie Thompson can become a
potential rivalry. Because of the resurgence of the Americans there is a strong
rivalry against the Korean women players. Brian feels that it sparks interest
in the Pacific Rim where there are a lot of sponsors as well as American title
sponsors. It’s all good for the LPGA.

Global Golf
Post Now is something fresh every day and you don’t have to wait until
Monday when the latest issue of the e-magazine comes out.

Todd Lewis from the Golf Channel calls in from to chat with
Rich and Holly G. Todd is heading out to the Open Championship in Hoylake. Holly asks Todd about Jordan Spieth defending at the John
Deere Classic and his thoughts on the British Open.

Favorites on the international side Rory McIlroy is the
betting favorite. High ball flight will be affected by the wind there. Put a
new 2 iron in his bag for the Scottish Open to give him some familiarity with
him. Henrik Stenson is Todd’s pick. Sergio Garcia is his second international
pick.

Jon Luna, SuperStroke Sales and Marketing, calls in to talk to Holly and Rich B about the success of Jordan Spieth and SuperStroke putter grips. Jon talks about the non tapered design and patented parallel technology are the key ingredients to SuperStroke's success.  KJ was one of the main players to put SuperStroke on the map.
Holly asks Jon about how Jordan's relationship with SuperStroke came about. Arnie Chamberlain is SuperStroke's Tour rep and has good relationships with a lot of the players. Jordan was digging through Arnie's bag on Tour one day and found the prototype and begged to have it on his putter right away.

Listeners can log on to the SuperStroke web site and find out what grip is right for your putter.
