One of my all-time favourite shows, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, ended on a cliffhanger that juristically changes the whole Arrowverse. Since the Arrowverse is ending, it wouldn't really make sense. But the answer to the question "What are the legends gonna do now?" may just be the simplest explanation, and it may have nothing to do with the story itself.
