The rain-impacted IPL final saw Gujurat Titans take on CSK with this year's two best teams demonstrating their skill on the biggest stage. The 214 posted by GT was a huge mountain to climb but the rain helped CSK get an adjustment target from 15 overs and they went for it from ball one, even with Noor Ahmed producing a wicked spell the boundaries kept coming. Conway, Rayudu and Rahane led the way, Dube found his feet and Dhoni set himself up for the limelight but the universe showed ego is the enemy with a golden duck before last year's pariah Jadeja keeping calm and carrying his team to their fifth IPL title.
