Maxim is the author several books, including Coal Region Hoodoo: Paranormal Tales From Inside the Pit. The book explores high strangeness that gave birth to The Night of the Living Dead, The Blob, and The Philadelphia Experiment. He also wrote Sheppton: The Myth, Miracle & Music, which chronicles paranormal activity back in 1983, when three miners were entombed more than 300 feet underground near remote Sheppton, Pennsylvania.
