HMSG Interview Tarik Davis!  "Predator 2"Tarik Davis is an actor/writer/avid pop culture consumer based in New York City with a 20 year history of acting, performing improv and writing comedy. He strives to cross-pollinate performance styles and audiences in all his work. Currently you can see Tarik on The Amber Ruffin Show (two seasons available on Peacock TV) as Amber’s announcer, side kick and real life friend!Tarik has appeared in multiple commercials and television shows such as Late Night with Seth Meyers, Ray Donovan, Friends From College, Last Week Tonight: with John Oliver and more.Recently Tarik performed in the critically acclaimed Freestyle Love Supreme at the Kennedy Center and at The Booth Theater, in the Broadway run in NYC (2021) - and he hopped in for a weekend as a very special guest of the cast on their final leg of their tour at the Pasadena Playhouse - where Teri roped him into this interview!In early 2017, Tarik shot a six-minute comedic horror short entitled Page One along with his brothers Don P. Hooper, LeMar McLean and producer Evan Kaufman . This short is based on a full length horror / comedy script that Tarik has been working on for the past 10 years. Tarik also has and continues to write multiple shorts, sketches, monologues and articles which have been published in print and online.We finally got Julia to dive into the Predator universe with Tarik's iconic choice of Predator 2 (1987) starring the great Danny Glover.
