Description

Elisabeth Finch was a writer on Gray's Anatomy for over 6 years. She told her colleagues she had been diagnosed with a rare bone cancer, had an abortion because of chemotherapy, experienced sexual assault, and had a friend die in a horrific shooting, which she wrote into storylines. She was given special treatment to accommodate her illness, including extra time off to travel to the Mayo Clinic. But when an email arrived to Shonda Rhimes' production company claiming it was all a lie, Elisabeth had to come clean.  SOURCES:The Ankler: https://theankler.com/p/shocker-disney-investigating-greysVanity Fair: https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2022/05/greys-anatomy-elisabeth-finch-truth-liesWebcrawlerspod@gmail.com626-604-6262Discord / Twitter / Instagram / Patreon / MerchSupport this show http://supporter.acast.com/webcrawlers. Self-proclaimed comedians Ali Segel and Melissa Stetten discuss unsolved mysteries, creepy cults, paranormal experiences and everything in between. “They maintain a loose, upbeat dynamic as they fall down rabbit holes, which means listeners can comfortably dip their toes into the deeply unsettling and unexplained, but won’t walk away feeling, well, haunted.” (Vanity Fair, 2020) Support this show http://supporter.acast.com/webcrawlers.
