Description

Husband and Wife introduce the Book of Psalms and cover chapters 1—2Psalms are praises, and the praises are hymns. There are 150 of these bad boys so we'll be here for a minute. Psalm 1: The Righteous and the Ungodly, starts out, "Blessed is the man..." and basically urges good guys to stay away from those ratty sinners. Psalm 2: The Reign of the LORD's Anointed, starts out, "Why do the heathen rage?" The answer is obvious — Heathens rage because Christians are so mf annoying. This psalm is either about Jesus who already came, or some other magical dude who plans to come later. It depends what flavor Messiah you like. Husband and Wife are two non-believers who have always wanted to read the Bible. Why would we subject ourselves to this you might ask? From our perspective it helps us understand where the Christians around us, here in the Midwest, are coming from when they quote the Bible at us. Husband is basically an Atheist and wife leans Agnostic but mostly Atheist and we're just having some fun at the Bible's expense while learning more about what our neighbors claim we're going to hell over.
