Description
While making her 2017 album 'The Project', Canadian country star Lindsay Ell was given an assignment by her producer, Sugarland's Kristian Bush. Take her favorite album - John Mayer's 'Continuum' - and re-recorded it front to back, playing every part herself. Today Lindsay takes us through the process of breaking down the album that has most inspired her, how she created her own version of the songs and what the process taught her as a guitarist, singer, songwriter, producer and fan. My Favorite Album is a podcast on the impact great music has on our lives. Each episode features a guest on their favorite album of all time - why they love it, their history with the album and how it's influenced them. Jeremy Dylan is a filmmaker, journalist, concert promoter and photographer. He directed the the feature music documentary Jim Lauderdale: The King of Broken Hearts (out now!) and the film Benjamin Sniddlegrass and the Cauldron of Penguins.
