Description
“Be hungry, be curious, and be humble” is Dr. Bryan Buckley’s mantra, and this mantra is what guides him in his work as a public health professional. Dr. Buckley is a multidimensional healthcare professional, educator, and researcher who works as a Fellow at the Medstar Health Institute for Quality and Safety and as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University. In today’s episode, Dr. Buckley shares how a recommendation he received from a professor during his undergraduate degree led him into public health, and why he is so passionate about the field. Although Dr. Buckley wears many different hats, his main areas of focus are addressing health inequities and improving the well-being of where people live, work, and play. Listen to this week’s episode to get the full scope of the incredible work that Dr. Buckley is doing!
