Today we're joined by Christiana Kiefer, senior counsel with Alliance Defending Freedom, and her client Jessica Bates, who is suing the state of Oregon for denying her the opportunity to adopt two children because she would not comply with the state’s policy to “respect, accept, and support" any child's sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression. Jessica tells us her story, from losing her husband in a tragic accident to becoming a single mother of five and seeking to provide a home for even more children.
